Annulus Vent Port Unblocking

Fairtex Group specializes in the inspection and cleaning of Riser Venting Systems for clients in the oil and gas industries. Our equipment, known as a fiberscope, is utilized for this purpose. The fiberscope passes through the vent port tube to inspect for any blockages. This process includes the removal of excess tube length protruding into the vent port drilling. The tool used not only inspects but also removes swarf as it cuts.

If a blockage is identified during the inspection, a cleaning cable is threaded through the camera guide plate and rotated to break up the obstruction. A vacuum is then employed to efficiently remove the debris. Subsequently, the tube undergoes a re-inspection with the camera to ensure that the blockage has been successfully removed.
