Operation & Maintenance Of FPSOs & Production Facilities

Fairtex provide operation and maintenance to the oil and gas company in Nigeria. We execute pre to post O&M activities, which cover the following phases. Fairtex has all necessary permits, OEM supports and technical partnership agreements to be able to carry out the operation and maintenance of FPSOs and production facilities in Nigera.

Our knowledge and expertise in O&M is thoroughly built into every project to ensure that our performance satisfies our clients’ requirements.

Our O&M services can be applied to the operations of fixed facilities (platforms) and floating facilities (FPSOs/FSOs) including the operations and maintenance of Marine and Production systems and shore base and supply base operations support.

Operations & Maintenance

Operation Readiness and Assurance Phase

• Management and scheduling of day-to-day operations of facilities


• Setting up fully competent operations teams for both onshore and offshore works


• Developing operating procedures, safety management systems, training, and competency assurance


• Preparing and procuring specialised services, equipment, tools, spare parts and consumables


• Setting up onshore infrastructure, including warehousing and logistics support requirements


• Coordinating third party services such as catering and marine support services


• Assignment of O&M team to fabrication yard for familiarisation session with facilities under construction or conversion


• Provision of relevant key training in areas such as HSEQ modules, BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training), crane operations, damage control and emergency responses

Offshore Support and Supply Base Operations

As a leading provider in total offshore operations and maintenance services, we operate our own modern, purpose-built shore-based supply bases located in the main support port Harcourt base office and Lagos office

The supply base provides storage for critical and operational spares as well as materials that are to be transported to and from the offshore facilities. To ensure smooth and efficient operations, the supply base has access to docking facilities for support vessels, lay-down and marshalling areas. The supply base has been designed to accommodate future expansion and to enable shared support services, such as security, material handling and fueling.

Other shore-based support including operations, engineering, technical and corporate support are based at our headquarters located in Port Harcourt office.
