Gas Fuel Skid With Purge For Liquid Fuel (GE FRAME 6)

Fairtex Group's partner, HEINZMANN UK, recently delivered a gas fuel skid for a GE Frame 6 engine. The design and development were completed by HEINZMANN engineers based in Middlesbrough, UK.

The skid controls the gas fuel throttle function, complete with dual high-speed shut-off valves. The renowned EVO II Valve actuator was utilized to provide gas fuel flow calculations, ensuring accurate, repeatable, and fast valve operation.

This skid operates alongside the existing liquid fuel system, enabling the Gas Turbine to utilize natural gas and reduce emissions. To ensure proper functionality, the liquid fuel requires purging from the supply pipes.

The skid is now installed on the customer's site and in full operation.
