Prefab Services For Conductor Pipes

Fairtex Group provides fabrication and welding services for the offshore oil and gas environment during drilling activities. Our services cover deepwater offshore, shallow offshore, and swamp areas, focusing on the pre-fabrication of conductor pipes. This includes cutting, beveling, coating, and fitting pad eyes onto the conductor pipes.

The scope of work undertaken by Fairtex Group includes:

• Cutting and beveling of casing pipes with all required consumables, tools, and equipment.


• Cutting, preparation, and welding of lifting eyes on each pipe with all necessary tools and consumables.


• Coating, including blasting, priming, and application of Splash Zone Compound on splash zone joints.


• Rolling and fabricating plates to manufacture clamp rings and clamp cones as required.


• Carrying out offshore pipe welding during piling installation, including welding of jacket legs, H-Beam Section during installation, prefabrication/setting up of temporary clamp platform for welding onsite, welding of handrails and deck plates on the platform, removal of pad-eyes on conductor pipes after piling, cutting and squaring of conductor pipes after hammering operation.


• Provision of rope access for personnel.


• Provision of scaffolding activities.


• Painting activity after the fabrication of jacket legs.


• Provision of energy sources and the necessary equipment and their operators.


• Mobilization/demobilization of personnel, equipment, and consumables to/from the jetty.

Conductor Pipes & Drive Pipe for Oil and Gas Wells, Offshore Structure, and Piling: Conductor pipes and drive pipes are large-diameter pipes set into the ground to provide the initial structural foundation for an oil well, preventing the well walls from collapsing. Similarly, in offshore rigs, the conductor pipe serves as a key structural foundation set in the seabed. These pipes are manufactured according to API5L specifications, and Fairtex Group supplies conductor drive pipes with pin and box thread connections. They are driven into the ground surface or seabed with a pile driver before drilling commences, ensuring a stable foundation for oil and gas wells and offshore structures.
