Fairtex Group Pipe Fabrication is a leading supplier of specialized welding services to the Nigeria Oil & Gas Industry. We employ a range of specialized, qualified welders with the ability to weld carbon, low alloy steels, Copper-Nickel (CuNi) alloys, austenitic, duplex, and super duplex stainless steels, as well as nickel-based alloys. Welding can be executed to ASME, AWS D1.1, API, NACE MR0175, AS2885, and other Australian standards. WPF has accumulated a large range of welding procedures to cover most standard and specialized requirements.
In addition to general pipe spooling and fabrication work, our capabilities include specialized TIG welding, plate work, chute work, tanks, pressure vessels, tube bundles, skid assemblies, offshore capital drilling equipment, subsea structures, topsides structures, and ROV tool welding.
We provide construction services, including fabrication, welding, and installation of materials such as Carbon Steel, Galvanized Steel, Duplex Steel, Stainless Steel, and Cupro Nickel Steel pipes. We specialize in the manufacture of small to medium fabrications, pressure vessels, and vessel-related pipework.
All our welders are coded, with the majority qualified under ASME. They support all our other departments when welding is required on or off-site.
Backed up by our team of engineers and office support staff, we are known for high-quality work, well-priced services, and excellent customer service. Our typical fabrication parameters include diameters up to 3,000mm, weights up to 15,000Kg, lengths up to 12,000mm, and wall thicknesses ranging from 1mm to over 50mm.
We regularly fabricate pressure vessels from a wide range of metals, including Stainless Steel 316L, Stainless Steel 304L, Carbon Steels (e.g., A516 and A105), Duplex Stainless Steel, and Chrome Moly (CrMo). Our welders are fully qualified and possess a wide range of skills, including TIG, MIG, and MMA.
Fairtex Group has experience in submerged arc welding of tubular materials, such as marine drilling risers, structural and conductor casing, and pipeline welding, including "hot tap" welding on live gas pipelines. Inlay welding and weld build-ups using parent metal or corrosion-resistant alloys, such as Inconel 625, are performed using a semi-automatic TIG process.
