Nitrogen Services

Fairtex Group provides comprehensive liquid and gaseous nitrogen services for the oil & gas industry with onsite high-pressure liquid nitrogen vaporizers & systems. The services include jetting fluids and solids from the wellbore, generating foam for well cleanouts, generating foam for hydraulic fracturing, displacing fluids from tubulars, nitrifying fluid for underbalanced operations, purging, testing, cooling, drying, testing, etc. of plants & systems during shutdowns and commissioning.

Fairtex Group maintains a dedicated fleet of nitrogen pumping units, operated by experienced professionals, to support a wide range of oilfield applications. Our fleet includes flameless high-pressure units, direct-fire units with a bobtail configuration for superior maneuverability, and combination nitrogen/fluid pumping units that reduce the amount of equipment on site and improve safety when commingling.

Nitrogen Services include:

  • Nitrogen Pipeline Purging, Drying & Preservation

  • Nitrogen Reactor Cooling, Inertising

  • Pressure Testing up to 10,000 psi

  • Hazardous Chemical Scavenging

  • Nitrogen Pipeline Pigging, mothballing & testing

  • Well-killing operations

  • Well unloading

  • Pressure testing

  • Production facilities leak testing

  • Nitrogen Foam inerting and displacement

  • Decommissioning

Fairtex Group's high-pressure, high-flow nitrogen vaporizers are capable of delivering a range of units capable of pumping 60,000 to 540,000 SCFH of gaseous nitrogen with pressures up to 15,000 psi and at discharge temperatures of 70°F.

This high-flow, high-pressure equipment allows us to handle cooling of catalytic reactors, process systems, purging of process loops, inertising & high-pressure testing of process equipment and pipelines, etc., faster than conventional methods. The onsite high flow nitrogen availability, even at remote locations, facilitates the displacement of hazardous chemicals from pipelines and pigging of pipelines, etc.

Our nitrogen pumps feature a long service interval flame trap, meaning typical 8-hour service intervals have been replaced with 1,000-hour service intervals, reducing downtime and waste.
