OPRA turbine, a Dutch company, is a manufacturer of gas turbine systems has appointed Fairtex Integrated Services Ltd as its representative for reselling of Opra Gas Turbines in Nigeria and states that are member of ECOWAS.

We’re pleased to announce that OPRA becomes a fully integrated brand of the global organization of AIREM ENERGY. This transformation creates new synergies and gives OPRA the ability to develop innovative solutions for a successful energy transition.  Through this partnership Fairtex has been granted the agency for the supply of Airem Turbines & power storage solution to the oil & gas industry in Nigeria.

Fairtex supply OP16 & A400 Gas Turbines systems, Energy Storage Solutions and also provides installation and maintenance to the oil & gas, energy, power, petrochemical, marine and the industrial & commercial sectors in Nigeria. We are providing a solution that provides cost saving of using diesel to power the oil facility, through the conversion of the flare system into reusable power generation and also the ability to store and reuse energy.

OPRA and AIREM, has a long-lasting experience in the oil & gas and other sector, for manufacturing and maintaining a 1.8 MW range for OP16 gas turbine package, and 400kWe to 1200kWe range for A400 gas turbines package

Our OP16 Gas Turbines offer the following key advantages:

• Able to operate on a wide range of gaseous and liquid fuels with LHVs ranging from 5 MJ/kg to 120 MJ/kg: flare/associated gases, natural gas, diesel, other industrial fuels


• Accepts sulphur levels up to 7% and heavy hydrocarbon content, along with other impurities which other turbines or reciprocating engines do not accept


• Dual fuel capability with the ability to switch from flare/associated gases to diesel under full load


• Almost no downtimes resulting in an existing monitored fleet availability of 99.5%


• Very low OPEXs thanks to our unique and robust radial design of the gas turbine; only one yearly inspection and a major overhaul every 42,500 hours of operation is needed.


• The OP16 has a very small footprint allowing you to install it in places where limited space is available.
