Flange Resurfacing Services

Fairtex Group has the expertise to machine any size and type of flange, from raised face to ring joints. We have mounted flange facing equipment for carrying out flange resurfacing to industry standards and as per client specifications.

Fairtex Group's portable flange facing unit is a lightweight, hand-operated device that allows for the repair of gasket seating areas according to the ASME B 16.5 specification for surface finish. Even the hardest welded-on material is not a problem for the specially developed cutting bits.

This allows our technicians to recondition RF and FF and other gasket seats in-situ. ISVT can machine flanges from 1” (25mm) to 10” (252mm) bore diameter, with the face diameter from 1 ¼” (30mm) to 14” (350mm).

This is a very effective tool for servicing and repairing flanges in piping construction companies and vessel manufacturers, along with on-site work at processing plants.

Our flange facing services help prevent the issue of damaged gasket surfaces between flanges. Flange surfaces require on-site machining services called flange facing. The constant pressure applied on flanges contributes to wear and tear at the flange connection, which causes it to lose its tight seal. The Pipe Cold Cutter is a low-weight machine for cutting and beveling. It is a split frame for fast OD mounting. It is easy to clamp and adjust to the pipe. The DLW requires a minimum of space around the pipe and is delivered with an electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic motor.
